For Lyon's Room

We did this print for Lyon's room to mirror his baby announcement.

We printed it on metal, and it is gonna look great!
I can't wait to get the finished product in the mail.
We had them drill two holes in the top, and Kathryn is going to hang it from a ribbon.
You can have them mount on a float block as well!

Little Lyon

Up next . . . the Alvord's holiday card, which doubled as a birth announcement for their sweet boy Lyon.

You might remember a couple of baby shower invitations a while back for this lady here and here.

I was flattered when Kathryn asked me to design her announcement for her darling little boy!

She wanted to have a little holiday, but not over do it. I was walking around a mall, and saw the saying "all is calm, all is bright" in a storefront window. I know we've all heard it over the years, but right at the moment I thought of the picture she wanted to use on her card, and it just worked perfectly!

Mary Ann

It's our first recycled card!
It was a fun "recycle" too because we made a BOY baby announcement into a GIRL announcement!
What a sweet baby girl you have!
The photograph was amazing, so I must give a shout out to your photographer - Emmybean Photography - you can check out here work here.
If you're in Seattle, she'd be worth looking into for newborn pictures!

Paige Elizabeth

Congrats to the Hardy family on baby #2!

What a precious girl she is.

Allison and I were sorority sisters in college, so it was fun to hear from her again.

She's still a hardcore Missouri Tiger fan, and so she wanted to tie that into her announcement.

She wanted to work tiger stripes into a grey/yellow color scheme, and I think they turned out cute!

A perfect announcement for a future Tiger fan!

Size: 5x5

Paper Type: Linen

Cost: $1.30/card

Allison also had me edit the picture that she snapped of her little girl to give it a little boost, so I included the before and after below so you have an idea of what the $5 fee for picture editing can get you!

You don't necessarily have to spend big bucks on a professional photographer to send out a baby announcement!

Thanks again for trusting me to do an announcement for Paige!

Mason is grateful

I must admit this design was ALL Christy.

As I have mentioned in previous posts, she has impeccable taste!

She sent me this "thought bubble" idea and I pretty much just put it on paper for her!

I do love how the back turned out and coordinated perfectly with her announcement.

Card: 4x6

Paper: Art Watercolor

Cost: $1.10/card

Combining the thank you cards for her shower gifts with her baby announcement was such a great idea!

Frances Drew

I love this picture of Frances - newborns are just so precious.

Her Momma Mandy is a friend of mine from high school and I was so happy that she asked me to help her with Frannie's baby announcement.

I love the boutique card shape that she picked, and I love the sweet, classic design.

I just found a new program that makes plaid patterns easy to create so I thought it would be fun to try it on this card!

I love my dear friend Courtney, and her little Hank is adorable.

I can always count on Courtney for help in the creativity department.

She chose one of the custom shaped cards and I just love how it turned out.

Perfect shape, for a perfect babe!

Charlie Mills

Little Charles Mills is the cutest guy!

Rachael found the quote that is on the back on the card and wanted to incorporate it on the card since it was sent out around Valentine's day (that is how behind I am on posting this).
